San Isidro
Albert, NM

My family and I have formed a group named Friends of San Isidro, we are trying to gather donations to repair the church at Albert. This group is a group of people and is not associated with Archdiocese of Santa Fe, its Parishes nor any other religious organization.  We have opened a bank account and have started the donation gathering process and hope posting this letter on the site can help us in this process. If you have any questions please contact me.
 Thank You, Gina Martinez

There are 2 Cemeteries 1/2 mile from the Church.

About 10 miles northeast of Mosquero, by air, but 20 by road, we find Albert, located on the ranch of Albert K. Mitchell.  Once a large village, Albert now is very small.  It's church is built solidly of adobe with beautiful stained glass windows and is dedicated to St. Isidore, the patron saint of agriculture.

Every year on the feast of the patron saint, his statue is carried around the church in procession by the mayordomos.  This picture shows St. Isidore being carried from the church at Albert.

Celebrating the Annual Mass (usually celebrated in May)
on Saturday,
followed by a potluck lunch.
Please come join us if you can!
