Mosquero Canyon is 8 miles
southeast of Mosquero. However, it is 20 miles by road.
Mosquero Canyon once had many
families and a school of it's own. Now the population is
small. Some of its families still have their ranches there
but live at Mosquero during the school year. The church is
well built of rock and in excellent condition.
