Fair Rules |

- The Harding County Fair will open at 8:00 a.m., Thursday, and
will continue through Saturday.
- Exhibits must be entered between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.,
Thursday. All items must remain on display until 2:00 p.m., Saturday
to be eligible for prizes.
- If any animal or article is entered without competition, the
judge will decide which award, if any, is merited.
- Entries must have been grown or otherwise produced by an
exhibitor during the past 12 months except those entered in
non-competitive classes, Junior Breeding Classes or the Horse Show.
- Exhibitors and contestants must conform to the special rules and
regulations of each department.
- Decisions of the judges are final.
- Do not attempt to engage judges in conversation while they are
judging.
- Only bona fide Harding County patrons will be eligible to enter
exhibits. All 4-H or FFA contestants must be bona fide Harding
County 4-H or FFA members for the current year.
- Only Harding County 4-H & FFA members who are in good standing
may compete in the 4-H & FFA Department. Booster 4-H members may
exhibit but will not be judged against regular members and Booster
4-H members may NOT sell animals through the sale ring.
- Junior livestock superintendents will make all livestock stall
assignments.
- The eligibility of entering exhibits will be the responsibility
of the superintendents in charge.
- Tags for the identification of articles will be furnished by the
superintendent when the article is entered.
- Commercial establishments are welcome to booth space for a fee
of $25. With approval of the Fair Board.
- The Fair Association will take every precaution to protect
exhibits and to provide for the safety of visitors, but assumes no
liabilities for personal injury or loss or damage to property,
exhibitors, or visitors.
- Collectable items may be displayed but will not be judged and
the Fair Association will not be responsible for these items while
on display.
- Articles or animals which have been entered and/or exhibited at
any previous County Fair will not be accepted for competition
- Non-compliance with general rules, department rules and special
rules, shall be sufficient cause to disqualify any exhibit.
- No one will be allowed on the premises after 10:00 p.m.
- Superintendents have the right to refuse any exhibits or display
space that they deem inappropriate.
