After graduating from Roy High School in 2002 Clay attended college at New Mexico State University where he majored in Agriculture Economics. Now he has returned back to Roy where he is now the city marshal. He became interested in the job when the position became open and the opportunity arose. The experience of being a Police Officer also helped Clay become interested in the job. On March 26 he will head to the Academy for some pretty thorough training.

Clay says he will have to be in the best shape of his life for the training at the Academy. He will be there for four months. When asked if he liked being a cop he said, “Yeah, I love it.”
