Annual Clinic & Open House

Wagon Mound Ranch Supply is having their annual Farrier Clinic and Open house on June 24, 2006 from9 am to 5 pm.  Lee Daniels will be serving his delicious brisket for dinner.  Please RSVP by June 17th so that he will know how much to cook.  1-800 526-0482

Don Gustafson will be teaching the course.  He has been shoeing horses since 1980, when he graduated as the "Top Hand" from Montana State University's Professional Farrier Course.  In 1983, he participated in the first American Farriers Association's Cultural Exchange Program with Britain.  The AFA has recognized Don as the Clinician of the Year, Administrator of the Year and presented him with the "Edward Martin  Award".  Don shoes Hunters and Jumpers, Dressage and Eventing Horses.  His focus has always been the practical application of solid horseshoeing theory and practice.  He believes good fundamentals are the foundation upon which all good horseshoeing is built, regardless of the breed or use of the horse.  While specializing in the demanding environment of the English performance horse, Don hopes to demonstrate techniques and share information of immediate use and value in his thought-provoking and challenging clinics.

If you need directions or need to know of a place to stay, we can help you with that when you call to RSVP.  This clinic is approved by the NMPHA & AFA for six hours of continuing education credits.

As always, in appreciation of our customers, we are running a special for the day of the clinic.  All orders of $500 or more, paid for with check or cash, will receive an additional 5% off.
