New Mexico's

"Home on the Range"

Roy Woman's Club

Established 1926.

The Club gives a $200.00  scholarship every year to a graduate of Roy High School who has completed a year or more of college, trade or vocational school.

We sponsor a Roy High School Junior to Hugh O’Brien Leadership Seminar and support Girls State.

The Senior Tea, which was established in 1955, is still in effect today.  We take an evening to honor the graduating seniors, their parents, faculty, and board of education members.

We bought Christmas Pole lights for the downtown area and are responsible for decorating the triangle at Christmas.  We include the Roy High School students and they always help us put up the lights.

We always remember our elderly shut-ins at Christmas with goody baskets or flowers.

We support Make A Wish with proceeds from a bake sale.

The club, with the help of local donations, put in a sprinkler system at the triangle downtown to keep the trees and lawn alive.

We welcome anyone to join our club at anytime.  We feel that what we do is a plus to our community.
